You right auto play was disabled but why cant i control PDVD under external players its not even an drop down menu option i was told i needed points to use external players so i purchased them and then that i needed to upgrade to PDVD 10 but its still not working. If it does not work chances are that autoplay is somehow disabled on your machine. My Movies will not help you play original Blu-ray's inserted into drives - the players should be plenty capable of that themselves. You must seek support from Cyberlink on that. PowerDVD is supposed to integrate itself into Media Center, and play back when you insert the Blu-ray. No I would like to be able to manage cyberlink PDVD 10 under external players under the collection management settingsġ. I dont have virtual clone drive and dont know what it is.

When i access my collection from WMC i see the blu-ray disk added to my collection once i go into the movie and can read the movie synopsis there is a play button ther once i press that it says " There were no players on your system capable of playing blu-ray or HD DVD file structures" 3. I am trying to play an actual blu-ray disk (Physical disk inside a blu-ray rom) 2. If you insert an original Blu-ray within Media Center, does it start playing? 1. If you minimize Media Center after pressing play, is the Blu-ray disc in the Virtual CloneDrive in My Computer? 5. Do you have Virtual CloneDrive installed? 4. You will lose all changes made every time. The standard EP.xml is supposed to be used only for those players supported by MM3 and can (will) be overwritten with every new version install. That won't happen if you do all player customization in the user ExternalPlayers.xml located in the directory as described in the wiki. So without changing it back, I can't refer back to exactly what I had and what I had working. Looks like I need to back it up before next time.
POWERDVD 10 INSTALL
It looks like the last install of MM has overwritten my externalplayers.xml. POWERDVD 10 64 BIT
I'm running a 64 bit OS, so my 32 bit applications go into program files x86. Also are you absolutely sure that your path is correct. I don't believe you need a path and registery key pointer. In your example your display name and name is PowerDVD 9, in the path you refer to power dvd 8 and then in the registry key you have powerdvd 9 again all with the same reference. Okay, It looks like the last install of MM has overwritten my externalplayers.xml.
